BioPellets

The pellets had reduced down by around 210ml. I replenished the reactor with +/-110ml of fresh pellets.

I noticed some color variation in the pellets from the reactor.

New Refugium - Sandbed


installed a 4-5" deep sandbed in the new refugium. I used most of the old sand form the old smaller refugium after rinsing it, and about 25lbs of new sand

Auto Dosing

Increased both ALK and CAL auto dosing amounts today.

ALK increase to 6g per day (+.25)
CAL increased to 5g per day (+1g)

Alkalinity

ALK continues to be low - but SPS growth is great. Near the bottom limits, so I'm going to bump the ALK up just a bit from 5.5 grams per day to 5.75 grams per day.

Growth

With NO3 levels way down and the new lighting. I'm seeing growth in the SPS corals I have not seen in this tank before. The Growth spurt also seems to coincided with the ALK drop, I?ve
