Racing Amphipods under the microscope Under 1600 time magnification the pods seem excited by the light, and don't stay still. I introduce spurilina powder to slow them down , which seem to work slightly ,as they stop breefly to take a mouthfull and run , swim like hell. added 6 years

Amphipods mating. At 2048 time we can see them moving very fast in a circle. The mating is fast and frequent. I tried to lower the light because they were uning away from it. Every time i zoomed in they fled the scene, lol. Still we can catch them at an incredible speed. added 6 years

Flat worm.... my best friend (Pseudobiceros bedfordi) A microscopic video ; Thoses little rascals just saying. Take a look. Hoeven's Wrasse (Halichoeres melanurus) are one of the best way to get rid of them. Before using Flat worm Exit you should give nature its chance to help you out. Because chemicals always leave traces, and worm exit when killing your worms release toxins within the worms so you must do quick water changes. So just think or the Hoeven's Wrasse (Halichoeres melanurus), the A blue velvet sea slug (Chelidonura varians) , some mandarin do too. added 6 years

Aquarium Sandbed under the microscope At 1680 time your sand is pretty much a quarry, lol. If like me and you don't syphon it every week you should find lots of life in it. Specially small snails growing between the rocks and devouring detritus and taking care of business for ya. Lots of worms the Cirratulid worm is a very good worm to have detritus eaters , but needs a stable sand to populate. Lots of pods and littles critters between the massive grain of sand. added 6 years
