Added an Eheim Compact 300 pump to the sump. I had it laying around so I figured I'd throw it down there for some flow. We'll see.

Had to throw in the Ice Cap fan this morning because the tanks been getting up to 27+ during the day with this heat bump we have been having. It's not attached but it worked like a charm. Got home from work and the cabinet was back down to 25.5. Have to figure out a mounting solution.

Installed some slim LED puck lights on the roof of the stand. I can also control the colours in case I need to show it off. :)

Hooked up the Reef Octopus Media Reactor and started tumbling some Bio-Pellets.
Everything was looking great this morning. Open and happy!
This sand has created way more dusty/silt than I had hoped for. I blasted it around and did a quick 4G water change and it improved dramatically. One or two more of those and it'll be good.
I had to transfer everything into the tank. The holding tank was just too small. All the water param's are the same as my 10G and the same as the holding tank everything has been sitting in. I'm not expecting any wide spikes or swings since I loaded it with my old rock and lots of the same filter media. Hopefully it holds steady.
Got the skimmer in today. I needed to lift it up a bit off the bottom so I built a box out of egg crate about 2" high and I loaded it with about 14 MarinePure Spheres I wanted to use. It worked out perfectly because I was running out of room and couldn't find a good place to put them. Now the skimmer just sits on the box.
Set the tank up today. It's now live and wet. Everything is working well and there's no leaks! It still needs to be fully dialed in once I get the skimmer, reactor and other media in the sump.
I am very impressed with the tank set up. Nice work Red Sea. It's very solid and feels 'safe'. Even the ATO box is glass, not cheap acrylic. I like it. Easy to assemble and figure out as well.
