Mixed Reef

Introduction

This tank is planned to be a mixed reef aquarium using DIY Leds and Sump.

It is born after I crashed my previous tank on New Years Eve by overdosing peroxide. All fish and inverts reacted badly to it and had to be move to my SPS tank.

After cycling, part of the surviving fish have been transferred back in it including my 6 years old blue hippo.

Lighting

Custom DIY Led using GU10 leds.

24 leds are being used with 120 degree lenses.

I am still testing it so my 2 VHO are remaining as supplement until further notice

Acknowledgements

Not everything I do for my tank would work for another tank.

I a really tankful for reefcentral, nano-reef and reef2reef community for their support.

In doubt, don t be afraid to ask as one of us may have encounter the same issue or problems. We are all here to help each other without criticizing ( not always true)

Keep it simple and steady and your reef will come alive
